Benefit Ultra Plush Lipgloss in Sugarbomb £13.50, Benefit Sugarbomb Face Powder £23.50

I fell in love with Benefit's Sugarbomb Face Powder a long time ago, when I first saw it on my skin during a make-over at one of the counters. I find that's one of the best ways to discover new colours and new make-up products when you're a little unsure, and if like me you like to try new brands every time you run out of something ask the make-up artist to match up the products to your skin tone. I have found many of my must buys through doing that! The face powder has a sweet, dusty pink colour to it which I apply just to the apple of my cheeks if I am wearing bronzer, or loosely dust it over my cheekbones if that is the only product I am wearing to add colour to my face. I also love that Benefit use several different shades of colour to blend into the final shade, that way you get a more "natural" look. The face powders come in different colours and they last a long time, my last Sugarbomb lasted me for a year! Most of Benefits products also come with brushes to apply them with, so if you don't own a collection of brushes you won't need to purchase any, and the little brushes which fit in the box are really handy when you carry the products around with you.
I also tried the new Ultra Plush Lipgloss in Sugarbomb to match my face powder as the lipglosses got great reviews on the Benefit website. The gloss is really soft on the lips, I love the colour as it's very natural so you can wear it every day, and it does compliment the face powder, as well as looking great with bronzed skin. The glosses don't feel sticky on your lips, big bonus! However they don't last very long either, so you have to reapply after every half hour or so if you're intending on eating/drinking or doing a lot of talking.
Have you tried the new Benefit Plush Glosses? What do you think?

  9. I completely agree with you, makeup counters are the best way to decide on what you wanna get. From my experience, Benefit sales associates are always nice and helpful.
I haven't tried the plush glosses yet, but it would love to!
I find that Benefit brushes aren't as good as regular sized brushes, but they indeed are perfect for travelling! x

    1. I agree with you on that, when I'm at home I use my regular makeup brushes as I find the Benefit ones aren't ideal... But out and about they're quite useful!
