Wow I need to learn how to smile in my pictures! First thing I thought once I uploaded these pictures. I will in the next one, promise. I love layers in cold weather and autumn colours such as dark orange, maroon, brown... Because this outfit already has quite a lot going on (and maybe because I couldn't be bothered to wash my hair this morning, shhh!) I decided to couple the outfit with a ballerina bun and basic makeup, concentrating more on the blusher for a fresh faced just-came-in-from-the-cold look. Talking about colds, I've been so ill with a virus so all I've done is sleep and watch daytime TV for nearly a week so I'm really sorry I haven't been so active on my blog or anywhere else! I love this time of the year when it's so pretty and all the leaves are turning beautiful colours and falling from the trees, but jeez the evening you forget to take a coat out with you and sit outside for an hour you end up having to medicate and nurse yourself back to life for a whole week! Maybe it's just me, I have no tolerance to colds because I never get colds, I get evil viruses which make me feel like I've been run over by a truck. Anyway, this outfit will be perfect for a laid-back office look especially if you are having dinner/drinks with friends after!

How many of you guys have been struck by a cold these past few weeks? What's your remedy to cure it quickly?

  1. I'm sorry you've been sick! and I know what you mean, I get those "hit by a truck" type of colds too, they are just awful.. feel better! I really like the pattern mixing, especially with all the black on the bottom, it's a great combination!
