L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer.

I have always used just one primer for all over the face, but I found out that some people prefer to use a lightening primer underneath the eyes to really brighten then and make them look bigger, so I thought I'd give that tip a try. I bought L'Oreal Lumi Magique primer as it quite suits the name of a light reflecting range and it can be used in many different ways.
The range is formulated to make your skin glow as if from within, and that is achieved by infusing the formula with light reflecting particles, as well as providing 8hr hydration. The primer is very light and silky, and it can be used as a base, on it's own or dabbed onto cheek bones to give you a glow and enhance your features.
I got on well with the primer, I use it just underneath my eyes to give the concealer an extra glow, and occasionally dab on my cheek bones as that gives the face a nice glow too (although in the photos above, I have used the primer all over my face and I really liked how bright it made my skin look).
PS The close up photos are not edited in any way, so apologies for imperfections on my mug! In natural light with no edits is when the primer looks at its best, on the downside you can see the cold weather playing havoc with my skin and lips :(

Do you use different primers for different purposes? Which is your favourite?

  1. I am a big fan of this primer, due to the fact that it highlights as well as priming! I actually mix mine in with my foundation to create an all over glow, and I find that it works really well!

  2. I use a different primer on my eyelids as I don't like putting foundation on them/near them so I get a fuller coverage primer, as I tend to have discolouration there too!

  3. I've never actually used primer, may be time to fix that!
