Wild Olive Bath Treats.

Wild Olive Bath Melts £2.25

I recently stumbled upon these gorgeous bath treats from Wild Olive in a little boutique store near my work. They smell and look so good that I had to try some out. With a variety of scents, colours and shapes there is plenty to choose from, I went for Mandarin and Bergamot, Grapefruit, Rose Geranium, Gardenia, Scotch Mist and Hyacinth.
When you drop the bath treats into water, there is a little tablet at the bottom which makes them fizz up in the bath making the water soft, scented and cloudy. The bath treats are made with natural oils and they made my skin feel really soft and moisturized, so there was no need to apply moisturiser after the bath.
I love them, and they make a perfect Christmas present in a set or individually placed in hampers.

What do you think? Will you be trying these cute bath treats?

Frosty.

Hat River Island, jumper Primark, shorts H&M, socks Primark, boots Topshop, pearl collar Topshop.

This was such an accident of an outfit but I've grown to really like it. I went to a pub quiz after work one evening, and I wanted to be comfy and warm. I couldn't find any trousers which I wanted to wear and the skirts that I was picking just didn't sit right, so I tried on a pair of black lace hot pants and they actually looked quite cute with the outfit! I then just had to add chunky knit socks to finish the outfit, to me nothing says more "warmth" and "comfort" than big socks.
Also, I'm thinking of dying my hair a lighter blonde and saying bye bye to ombre for the winter. What does everyone do to their hair in winter? I'd love to try brunette but I'm too scared!

Hey, I Got My New Coat On...

Coat Primark, hat River Island, jeans River Island, boots New Look

I love my new coat! I stumbled upon this gem in Primark. This coat has faux leather sleeves, a furry hood and it's a mini parka which makes it literally perfect for this season! I love wearing this jacket with skinny jeans and mid heels, it's the perfect off duty look.
I've been slightly behind on blogging last week just because I had a very lazy/productive (I know, right!) week off. I did a lot of shopping during the week: Christmas pressies, necessities and also some treats for myself. A week off is dangerous, it's so tempting to go out and spend every day! But it's been well deserved one and I'm back to my little blog :)

What is your favourite off duty look? What is your style of coat this winter?

Sigma Makeup Brushes.

Sigma F82 Round Kabuki* brush $18 and E05 Eye Liner Brush* $10

I was recently sent a couple of brushes by the lovely people at Sigma Beauty and the two lovely brushes came wrapped up really nicely, I'm a sucker for good packaging so that's one way to get me! I have always heard about Sigma brushes, when I was on the hunt for new makeup brushes a lot of you on Twitter have mentioned Sigma products, so I was very intrigued by the company even before they approached me.
I finally got to try out these brushes: the round Kabuki brush is designed to blend in powder foundation which makes it perfect for mineral makeup which is becoming more popular day by day. The brush is really soft on your skin and very easy to handle while you're buffing away.
The Eye Liner brush is great to handle, great for using with gel eyeliners. I tried it with my liquid eyeliner and it glided well with that too, but you do have to have a steady hand when using this brush! I concentrated a lot to make my eye look anything like the one in the photo above :)
Overall I'm really impressed with the brand, their packaging and what they include with their brushes (I got a little card which told me how to look after my brushes), and the products themselves are of a high standard. I now have my eye on the complete sets of Sigma makeup brushes and for Christmas I have asked for the Spa Solutions Complete Kit! I hope Santa thinks I've been a good girl this year and I'll find this under my tree on the 25th Dec!

What brushes would you guys recommend? Is there one brand that you stick to, or use many for individual brushes?

Hello Monday Purples.

Blazer Urban Outfitters, dress from a boutique in Lincoln, brogues Primark, necklaces River Island + Topshop.

I share with you today my Monday outfit of the day: smart, comfortable and a hint of colour! This is my most common kind of look for office wear, because it's smart enough for meetings but still fun to carry on with my life if I don't have enough time to go home and get changed after work. I especially love brogues with little dresses like this one, they are so comfy and look great!
I bought the dress years ago when I went to visit my friend who studied at Lincoln University at the time and she showed me all of the beautiful boutiques dotted around the center of Lincoln. I have to say, I left with an extra suitcase full of stuff! I love going to new towns and seeing what clothes and accessories they sell in different shops as every city's style is so different. I love shopping in London because you can get anything there, but at the same time when I'm on a massive spree I get so confused by everything around me that I end up not buying that much because there is too much (I'm a simple creature).

What is your daily uniform? I'd love to know what everyone wears to the office, will give me new ideas!

Sunday Mooching.

Jumper Primark, jeans River Island, jewellery Topshop and River Island, boots New Look.

I found this bargain jumper in Primark for £6 and because I have a serious lack of warm clothes to get me through the winter months I decided I really need some in my life. It's a great jumper to wear with skinny jeans or tucked into a skater skirt, with mid heeled boots. I wore this as a Sunday outfit, because I love being comfy on weekends and usually need something that I can freely mover around in. I also found that because of the loose shape of this jumper, I received many comments on how slim I looked which is always a bonus! I'll also be wearing this jumper to work with black cigarette style trousers and black, smart heels.
I thought this was a great find and I'm probably going to be back for more colours, plain comfy jumpers are my uniform this winter :)

MUA Undressed Palette.

MUA Makeup

MUA Undressed

MUA Undressed swatches

MUA Undressed swatches

I'm a little late jumping on the Undressed trend train, but I finally picked up this palette from my local Superdrug where all makeup is currently 3 for 2 so grab yourselves some bargains if you need anything! It's so cheap at £4 that I was a little concerned about the quality but I read great reviews from bloggers that I follow, so I decided to give it a go.
The 12 colours of the palette are great for the party season, with a mix of matt and sparkly shades it's perfect to go from day to night. The colours build easily on the lids of your eyes so you can create really intense looks, I love starting with a light shade in the corners of my eyes and work my way to a graduating dark shade - it makes eyes look really big and bright! The swatches on my hand in the picture above are from one stroke and you can see that the colour is strong enough to show. "Undressed" also comes with a double ended sponge applicator, but I prefer to use my own brush.
Overall, I'm really impressed with the palette, for £4 it's a great bargain and I can't stop using mine. I'm looking forward to going back to the shop and seeing what other palettes they have at the moment, and probably pick up a few more :)

Have you tried the "Undressed" palette? What did you think?

Spa Magik Age Response Eye Cream.

I have previously reviewed Spa Magic (you can find it here) and I was really impressed with the quality of their products. I jumped at the opportunity to review their new eye cream from the Diamond Range which has been specifically created to help women and men fight the signs of aging such as wrinkles and lines, and help restore your skin to keep it young. The eye cream is designed to reduce dark circles and puffiness under the eyes which is a forever problem for me and eye creams are an absolute must now. I sit in front of the computer for 8 hours a day to do my day to day job and am a very light sleeper who lives with a dog and a chinchilla getting up at 3am for a play so I hardly get a full nights sleep, and that makes eye bags and dark circles an every day occurrence.
This eye cream contains Dead Sea minerals, Vitamin B5 and Jojoba Oil it also takes care of the lines which appear around your eyes and make your skin look older. The cream boasts that it can rescue your eyes from all that in just four weeks.
The cream is really nice to apply - I dab the creme under my eyes, just where you start to feel the bone, as under eye creams soak into the skin and can actually make eye bags worse if you apply them too close to your eye, and then I use my middle and ring fingers to gently "tap" the eye cream in to my skin. It absorbs very quickly making it easy to apply in the morning as well as the night time.
I started noticing the difference probably around the second week, the skin under my eyes appeared brighter when I woke up! I still wouldn't completely give up on the under eye concealer, but I will continue using this eye cream until I run out because I feel like it has brightened up the skin under my eyes.

Dinner and Drinks.

alexander mcqueen scarf outfit

urban outfitters blazer outfit

alexander mcqueen scarf

outfit
Blazer Urban Outfitters, scarf Alexander McQueen, oversized T ASOS, disco pants Glamorous, suede court shoes Topshop (similar here).

I wore this outfit on Saturday night when I met my friend for dinner and drinks at our favourite place, The Three Cups in Stockbridge. It's a cute country style pub/restaurant and the one and only Mr Johnny Depp has been seen wining and dining there (of course, I wasn't one of the lucky ones to spot him unfortunately!) and the food and drink is fantastic. I love their burger which comes with thick chips, salad and a ciabatta bun with cheese melted in the middle, with a refreshing glass of prosecco. I wanted to go dressed up but keep it comfortable as I knew I would be meeting some friends after dinner for some drinks, so I glammed up an oversized T with my disco pants, suede heels and piled up jewelry. I love my disco pants from Glamorous, they have been my staple item this weekend and I think I'm going to struggle not to wear them every day this week. I bought them a while ago, but it's only now that I realised how amazing they look with casual outfits as well as going out! Mucho love!

What have you guys been up to this weekend? Who's started sacrificing weekends out for Christmas presents? :)

November Glossybox.

Ayuuri Sandalwood Face Cream (£4.95): Moisturized skin yet no greasy feeling? The Ayurvedic face cream has Sandalwood Oil, Olive Oil and Aloe Vera extracts for an nourishing feel and beautiful fragrance. The size of this face moisturizer is HUGE, I was quite surprised especially after I tried it - you only need a tiny drop of cream for the face! This will last me ages. It is really moisturising and when I woke up this morning my face wasn't greasy which is always a bonus.I love the scent of this moisturiser, the sandalwood is gorgeous but so strong! I have to say that after about an hour after application, I could still strongly smell sandalwood and it was getting to be a bit much, so if you're not a fan of strong scents this definitely isn't for you!

9/10

Burberry Body Eau de Parfum (£75): This is a really cute and big tester, it comes in a "crystal" 4.5ml bottle which (if used wisely) can last you the whole month. It's a very grown up, sweet fragrance with green absinthe, rose and cashmeran (weird mix, I know, but it works!) I fell in love with the scent, it will be in the top five on my Christmas wishlist.

10/10

Alison Claire Natural Beauty Mango Body Butter (£15): I love the scent of this moisturiser, a very subtle hint of mango. It's quite a rich moisturiser so it would be perfect for problem areas such as knees and elbows, but it obviously great for all over the body. With organic mango and cocoa butter in this product, Alison Claire Natural Beauty is set to be a big hit in the beauty industry.

10/10

Nails Inc Caviar Top Coat (£12): I've been wanting to try the award winning Caviar Top Coat for months now, but never got round to it, so when I received it in my Glossybox, I was over the moon! It's just like promised - shiny, strong, quick drying with an incredibly glossy effect. I love it, if you're looking for a good top coat don't worry about spending the money on this because it's worth it. It also looks great worn on its own for healthy looking, natural nails.

10/10

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (£38.50): My mother is a big fan of Dermalogica (in fact, I think her Christmas list will consist of some products from them) so I am very award of the brand and their products. I was excited to see it in this months box and try out the Microfoliant. It's a powder based exfoliant, which reacts with water to gently cleanse and renew the skin. All you do is pour a little into your hands and mix with a little water to make a paste, then massage into your face. Rinse it off with water and you have amazingly soft and smooth skin. I tried this last night and I had three big, red spots which I thought inevitably will end up on my face for the whole weekend, but I woke up this morning with clear, bright skin. I can see now why Mum is so obsessed with Dermalogica, it really works and is worth every penny. Best product in the box, for sure!

10/10

I really loved this months box, I enjoy Glossybox either way because for me it's one of the best ways to try new products which I usually wouldn't have. Some boxes in the past have caused quite a reaction from their subscribers for not being up to standard, but I think Glossybox have really fixed this issue now.

What did you get in your box this month? Did you like it?
