Essie Beyond Cozy.

Essie nail polish in Beyond Cozy £7.99 (from Superdrug)

I have been on the lookout for a dupe of Essie's "Beyond Cozy" nail polish for ages as there isn't an Essie retailer near where I live and I love the small glitter particles that cover your whole nail, rather than big chunks which are usually worn over a nail colour.

I couldn't find one, so when I was finally near an Essie counter it just seemed silly not to buy it. I painted on two coats of the polish and you can see the results in the photo above! I love painting just one nail in pure glitter and then a pastel or nude colour everywhere else. I was very pleased with how quickly the nail polish dried, minutes after I applied two coats I was ready to go and do my usual business without being afraid that one nail would smudge and I'd have to redo the whole nail again.

What do you think of this nail polish? Have you managed to find something similar on a budget?

  1. This is gorgeous. I don't have the best nails (acrylics have wrecked them) and I love a glitter polish like this as it helps to make my nails look in better condition (evens out the bumps etc haha! WIll be looking into this. x

  4. I agree, the look with the smaller glitter particles is a little less 'edgy' and perhaps more wearable for some people.
Might have to get my hands on some of this!
