It's the week of All Hallows Eve, my favourite holiday of the year, and I'm so excited to share a couple of looks with you which are inspired by some of the more famous costumes of the night.

A lot of people tend to choose a bad witch to dress up as at Halloween with ugly noses, rotten teeth and dressed in rags. I have gone for a different witch and taken it back to the origins of Wicca when women (and men) would embrace the nature and draw powers from plants, their surroundings, the sun and moon, storms and creatures. Witches were naturally beautiful, I can imagine other women being jealous and making up stories that their men were under some sort of spell when they became infatuated by the flawless creatures.
As with anything else, occasionally you'd come across a witch which used her powers to control and gain what she wanted. Witches were powerful, and it could would take a white witch to stop the wrongdoing of her sister.
Witches were at one with nature and could easily communicate with animals, treating them as equals rather that pets. Plants would rule in the household of a witch, which would be light and airy.

Of course, this is only my idea and fantasy of witches centuries ago, I'm pretty sure that's not what you'd find in history books or the Salem Witch Trials! I would love for magic to exist in life, I just love all things supernatural! But the closest I have come to believing is horoscopes, which anyone can tailor to be relevant to them... But my favourite horoscope to check is the Elle Horoscope where you can get daily, monthly and yearly forecasts as well as my favourite "Astro Love Match" (it's only my favourite right now because it sounds promising).

Anyway, I hope you guys like this outfit, this is how I'd imagine a modern day witch to dress like! What about you?
