i'm wearing: an apron from HomeSense £5.99*

As some of you might know, I absolutely love shopping for home accessories. Whether it’s plants, kitchenware, cushions or decorative ornaments – I can spend more money kitting out the house than I can on buying myself clothes. Well, it’s a match, really.

One of my favourite places to shop for home accessories is TK Maxx – they have incredible finds for low prices, like authentic bowls made in Tunisia and cast iron griddles for £9.99. Who won’t love that? So you can imagine how excited I was to hear that TK Maxx have a sister company called HomeSense who stock exclusively interior accessories and homeware. Oh my god. And the best news is that there is a store which opened just down the road from me, in Salisbury.
It’s been about a week since opening when I finally visited the store and although we went on a Sunday afternoon the store was packed with buyers. Liam and I got a trolley (because who are we kidding with a basket?! ) and started our journey down the aisles.

HomeSense is filled with everything you could possibly need to decorate your home – from statues of dogs with headphones to suit a modern decor, to authentic woven baskets from the East (we even found a note with the makers name on it!) the range of styles in HomeSense is all you could ask for. The selections includes books, food, beauty and skincare ranges and a pet section (naturally Harvey got a little something - a gorgeous new set of dining bowls!)
We had so much fun picking out some things for our house, and we picked up some cute decorative items as well as necessities like a cotton wool pad holder – I can’t wait to share with you all the new accessories in upcoming posts!

After we visited the store, we settled down for a cosy Sunday filled with countryside walks with the dog and a lamb roast! Which I cooked in my cute new apron from HomeSense – love!

This post is part of my HomeSense series as the official HomeSense Hampshire ambassador and I was kindly compensated with gift vouchers.

  3. I love the skull in a jar! We've just had one open near us, and I cannot physically wait to go! My boyfriend and I bought our first house back in June, and have bought our main pieces of furniture, but are in need of nice little decorative pieces! So, so, SO excited to go!
