Spring is rapidly unwrapping in front of us and I'm hoping soon the morning frost will no longer grace cars in the morning, but will be replaced with glorious sunshine and warmer evenings. This poncho was sent to me from Blue Vanilla via the etailPR Blogger Network just in time to start thinking abut picnic season - which is what the pattern reminds me of, a very stylish picnic blanket!
I love ponchos - I think they're such a great way to cover up when it's chilly and easy to layer. I dressed this poncho up and made it part of an outfit, rather than use it as outerwear in this instance: an outfit like this will look great going out for an evening spent in pub gardens, lunch on the terrace and anywhere you know you will be spending time outside.

I don't usually wear a lot of pink, but this poncho really caught my eye because I love the pastel shades and I thought this style would be perfect for Spring. When styling, I just paired it with different shades of pink, and broke down the colour with golds and browns but actually I really enjoyed wearing this outfit - it made me feel like a little doll!
