what i'm wearing: long cardi H&M (similar here) // Joni jeans Topshop // crop top New Look // beanie American Apparel // shoes Topshop // watch Michael Kors // necklace Zara

Sport and fashion have held each others hand in symphony for a while now, and this is exactly the kind of trend which is perfect to wear all day long as it can go from day to night fairly easily.

There's two ways in which I like mixing the sport luxe trend:
1: Use sport inspired accessories like shoes and hats to bring your outfit up to speed. In this post, I used my American Apparel hat to bring life into my outfit and make it bright and interesting, however I have also included a crop jersey top which is like an 80's aerobics throwback style. By keeping your outfit simple and adding statement sport luxe accessories, you can safely wear this trend whatever your style is!
2: Use a statement sport luxe piece like a dress (Alexander Wang x H&M brought out some incredible pieces last year!) or a pair of trousers and highlight them with classic accessories. If I was to choose a sport themed dress, I would probably pair it with some skinny strappy stilettos and a chain necklace.

This trend is comfortable and stylish so you don't compromise on either of those all important elements. I have previously blogged about the sport luxe trend and I always use the same principles when styling myself in this trend - keep sport pieces to a minimum and ensure they make a statement.

I also think that fashion is quickly expanding into sport with so many trendy fitness collections coming out from shops such as Primark, Missguided and F&F at Tesco. With so many of us joining the movement to keep healthy and fit, sport fashion trends will eventually seep into everyday lives for convenience and comfort.
