Last week I posted about my new favourite moisturiser, the Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream from Antipodes, and because I loved it so much I also bought the Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream.
The Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream contains 100% pure avocado oil, manuka honey, marigold flower, and sandalwood. It is packed with Vitamins E, A, B1, B2, C and D for superior restorative qualities which ‘resurrect’ and revive your skin, whilst oil from the petals of the marigold flower which is historically known for its healing and repairing qualities. Now the next ingredient is something I have been obsessing about lately: manuka honey. Manuka honey serves to soothe and moisten your skin – I love this ingredient especially in skincare because I honestly think it does wonders for the skin and smells incredible.
I use this cream every night after a cleanse and it feels so good and smooth on my skin – the whipped texture is like a soft loud of love that wraps your face. Mmmmm… Sandalwood adds a calming scent to the cream and uplifts your skin. It does feel kind of heavy when you first put it on your face, however absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel sticky or oily.
I have been using the Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream consistently for over a week, together with the Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day cream and my skin is looking a lot brighter and calmer – even enough for me to not get too upset about going out of the house with no makeup on!
I love the feeling these moisturisers give my skin and will definitely be trying more Antipodes products because so far these have been an investment with a pretty hefty price tag, but the results are great and I would definitely repurchase.
