what i'm wearing: denim shift dress F&F Tesco // neck tie ASOS // boots Topshop (similar here) // bag Chanel // watch Michael Kors

A classic denim dress will stay in your wardrobe for years – from shift dresses showcase by Chloe in 2005, to stylish 70s pieces rocking the catwalk in 10 years later, you should always buy the denim pieces which scream at you from the rail.

I picked up this little number from F&F at my local Tesco (supermarket fashion doing it right – read my article on supermarket brands vs the high street here) for a bargain £12. I was so please as I’ve been looking for a denim shift dress for ages and none of the high street items could offer what I wanted and then boom – here I am thinking about what to have for dinner when this beauty appears.

A denim shift dress is easy to wear any time of the year – with sandals and oversized shades in the summer; pair it with tights and chunky boots to keep warm in autumn - I also love denim with faux fur gillets at the moment.

  2. Your F+F light blue denim shift shirt-dress from Tesco looks airy and comfortable, and you look pretty wearing it . I like the colour of your lipstick too.
