Autumn will carry through the seventies trend so don't pack up all your vintage lookalikes just yet. With suede, platform boots and flared jeans staying on the scene, I decided to stick with this favourite and share with you my first transitional piece.

A-line skirts have been huge this summer and they're staying on top for AW15 too - I have a couple in my wardrobe which I just love, but today I opted for a faux suede button up style. For me, colours have a lot to do with fashion and autumn is all about camel, maroon, brown, beige and khaki green - that's my key fashion colour palette. If you're stuck for inspiration, look no further than the leaves on trees and outside your front door.
I chose this classic seventies combo of maroon and camel, but added in a splash of white - as we know, Converse is not only a staple of casual footwear, but also cult seventies classic. I love my white leather Converse which are easy to wear and easy to clean!
I picked up the high neck tshirt from H&M, but you can find similar ones at Primark. I love this mid high neck thing stores have going on this season - not only is it a little retro, but it's also very warm!
Don't forget to get thrifty too, vintage stores are excellent for finding unique pieces from the era itself.

We had an extra lovely day in Hampshire with temperatures soaring to high 20s and this outfit was perfect to wear throughout the day and early evening when it started to get a bit chilly (high neck ;)). Liam and I took advantage of the weather and took Harvey to a country pub near us which he loved, as did we because we got to enjoy a drink and burger in the sunshine!
