Toners are a staple of my skincare routine - I have always enjoyed using them because I feel like they get rid of any unnecessary oils on your skin, and also close pores after a hot bath/shower. They're also really refreshing in the summer when it's so hot you can feel your skin clogging up and need a quick boost.
Antipodes Ananda Antioxidant Toner promises to calm the skin with a combination of premium botanical extracts and natural minerals mixed with 15,000 year old Waiwera artesian water from New Zealand. One of the active ingredients is raspberry seed which is rich in omega and antioxidants, it assists in boosting lipid content and decreases moisture loss which is perfect for Autumn/Winter weather as skin tends to loose a lot of moisture due to central heating. It also has aloe vera which is known for its numerous health benefits one of them is soothing irritated and stressed skin - I remember my mum used to put aloe vera gel straight from the plant onto rashes and bites when I was little. I've always wanted to get a plant to keep in the kitchen but keep forgetting!
Ananda helps the skin generate and foster healthy cells thanks to mamaku black fern which is an ingredient representative of New Zealand skincare. Scented with Bulgarian rose oil, this toner is both refreshing and luxurious - simply spray onto your face and neck and I wipe it off with a cotton wool pad, but you can leave it on for a moisture boost and relief from pollution, sunlight and other environmental aggressors.
Antipodes Ananda Antioxidant Toner is dermatologically approved for sensitive skin, and can be used on irritated skin too, like I suffer from spots and usually they're quite aggressive so I like to use this toner because it's very gentle on the skin.
This product is also certified organic with 77% of ingredients from organic cultivation and 100% of ingredients from natural origin. Why go organic in skincare? Read a post I wrote about that topic not long ago.
