what i'm wearing: chunky knit sweater Primark // jeans Primark (DIY slits) // shoes Kurt Geiger // bag* George at ASDA // watch Michael Kors

Casual style doesn't have to be boring - although I love my tshirt, jeans and sneakers combo, I also love to swap flats for glam heels and spice up my outfit ready for a day of chilling and look great for evening cocktails. By putting unexpected accessories with a casual outfit like I've done with these beauties from Kurt Geiger, you immediately make it more interesting without being in-yo-face: remember, sometimes less is more. Unless you're dressing as a unicorn in which case more glitter and ribbons is always more!!

Currently loving Primark sweaters - they look and feel so amazing, and come with a price tag of around £10. I'm especially obsessing over grey sweaters because I feel like they look so luxurious and go with absolutely everything! I just love grey when it comes to knitwear, always have and always will.
Talking of Primark, I'm also a fan of their jeans - the ones I'm wearing in this post are their high waist skinny jeans and I have cut slits in the knees myself because I'm sorry but spending £40+ on a pair of ripped jeans is just not on my list of priorities. So I got a cheap and cheerful pair of navy jeans for a £10 and did a bit of DIY, but what I found is that Primark jeans are actually super soft and comfy! So, I'm heading back for more.

I find a lot of my style inspiration on Pinterest - it's honestly the best tool to get your creative juices flowing whether you're styling an outfit or redecorating your house, or even just thinking of what to have for dinner! Like this outfit was inspired by a picture I saw on Pinterest where all the focus was on the shoes which were paired with an otherwise very tame outfit. Check out my boards and follow for daily Pins!
