In a couple of my previous posts, I mentioned that serums have become a staple of my skincare routine - it's actually incredible how much of a difference one product can make. I never used to use serums as I felt like perhaps they weren't as necessary in my routine not did they make much difference - but what I figured out is that I was using the wrong serums and in the wrong way.

I was very excited at the opportunity of trialling Pestle & Mortars Pure Hyaluronic Serum which is the perfect all in one product for the skin - it targets fine lines, dullness and dehydration helping your skin restore a healthy glow, plumpness and radiance. I find that especially in Autumn/Winter, my skin can get really dry and dull, and craves hydration to keep it bright and healthy looking.

Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum has a lightweight formula and added Vitamin E which is great for keeping your skin looking young, and it can be used as a velvety makeup primer. I like to add a couple of drops into my morning moisturiser and apply onto my skin - it makes my skin feel super smooth and soft. Before bed, I apply the serum onto cleansed skin and follow with my nighttime moisturiser.

I really enjoy using the Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum because of the way it feels when applied, and also how smooth it makes my skin - the perfect primer as well as a serum. The serum is also 100% free from animal derived raw materials and organic solvent remnants, parabens, propylene glycol, any fragrance and is not tested on animals - yay!

  1. I've never used serums, not even sure what are serums for exactly :D But this was a really helpful review, think I might have a look at our drugstore for this one. If you like it, then I know it's quality, this is why I love your bloggy. ^_^

  2. As soon as I saw the word 'Hyaluronic' I knew this would be right up my street and you've made me want to try it so badly! I've been having a nightmare with my skin being super dehydrated recently and I've heard so many good things about that ingredient. I've been using the Vitamin C serum from the Balance Active Formula range we were given at the Bloggers festival and I really like that one too; it's amazing what a difference serums make to the skin, especially in the winter :)
