Degustabox Christmas Box Review

Christmas Degustabox review, food bloggers, FashionFake

I am so excited to share with you the festive Degustabox - it is filled with some absolute gems which can be used to stock up your cupboards for Christmas, like crackers and chutney. All of the Degustaboxes which I have received so far have been absolutely amazing but this one is my favourite yet with a great selection of sweets and savouries. So, without further delay - let's check out what exactly was in the December box! And if you fancy trying out Degustabox monthly food box, I have a code which will take off £6 the total price (£12.99): BLDEG15

Jim Jams Hazelnut Chocolate Spread is delicious AND has a whole list of benefits which set it apart from other branded chocolate spreads: no added sugar which means it's also kinder to teeth, gluten free, diabetic friendly, and uses reduced fat cocoa! There's only 35cals per serving so it's a treat you can enjoy even if you're on a diet.

Nims Pineapple & Mango Fruit Crisps is a great healthy snack which uses real fruit that has been freeze dried. Freeze drying fruit and vegetables is quickly taking over supermarket shelves as it keeps all the goodness and nutrients in the fruit or vegetable. For me, this snack was quite tart to eat by itself but I found it was delicious with a natural yogurt and a drizzle of honey!

Tuckey's Proper Digestives is a delicious, crunchy sweet biscuit which is perfect with our favourite traditional cup of tea! Tuckey's Digestives are made with demerara sugar and molasses for a deliciously sweet tang, and come in handy packs of 4 so they keep fresh for longer.

Branston Orchard Fruits Chutney will be gracing our cheeseboard at Christmas - with so many delicious ingredients, a taste of this chutney compliments any cheese or biscuit! Ingredients include Bramley apples, onion, sultanas, concentrated grape juice, garlic puree, orange zest, ginger puree and date paste. I also tried it with some pate and it was delicious! Highly recommend trying this chutney for something slightly different and sweet for the table.

Bourne & Wallis British Pickled Onions are incredible - so tart and perfect, place them on a cheeseboard as a palette cleanser! I could honestly eat a whole jar of these - yummy yummy yummy!

Ryvita Thins with Cheddar and Cracked Black Pepper and Ryvita Green & Black Olive Crackers are the perfect cupboard item to keep for when you bring out the cheeseboard, pates and spreads. The black pepper thins are really tasty if layered with creme cheese, smoked salmon and a squeeze of lemon!

The little bar of Divine Dark Chocolate and Raspberries with 70% dark chocolate was perfect to shave over desserts like a scrumptious cheesecake, chocolate mousse or even over an eggnog cocktail! I love the bitter dark chocolate taste - it contrasts sickly sweet desserts and drinks!

Rekorderlig Dry Apple Cider was one of my favourite discoveries from the Christmas Degustabox - it is the king of all dry apple ciders. Refreshing and delicious, the perfect drink to have at a Winter picnic or to enjoy with a couple of friends to get into the festive spirit.

A small bottle of original Baileys was more like a reminder to get the full sized bottle - Christmas is just not complete without a bottle of tasty irish cream! Use a small bottle to make a Baileys cocktail, or add into a cheesecake mixture! Delish.

Butterkist Sweet & Salted Popcorn is the most incredible mixed popcorn - it is so moorish, you can go through the whole bag without even realising it! My other favourite discovery was the Salted Caramel Popcorn which was absolutely delicious and different - the large bag is perfect to share whilst watching Elf, Home Alone or Die Hard!

Teisseire Gourmet Drops in Vanilla and Caramel are the perfect addition to your morning coffee - especially after a night of booze (which is inevitably going to happen at Christmas) when you need a little extra sweetness! I'm not a huge coffee drinker as it doesn't really do well with my body, but when I do very occasionally have a coffee I like to add in the Caramel drops. You can also use these to make caramel lattes, or frozen coffee drinks!

Belvita Breakfast Soft Bakes with Red Berries are a delicious and nutritious start to your day - and the best thing is that you can eat them on the go, saving you precious morning time! With slow releasing energy, these biscuits are great to keep you going until lunch time - and we all know that breakfast IS the most important meal of the day! Made with wholegrain and rich in Cereals, Fibre, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Magnesium, Iron.
I enjoy my Belvita Breakfast Soft Bakes with a warm cup of tea - if I can, dunk them in! Yum yum yum...

Hartley's Strawberry Glitter Jelly is something I am so excited to try! I love all things glittery and sparkly so I am hoping this jelly won't disappoint - I'm thinking perhaps a layer over a cheesecake?
The Black Cherry Jelly is delicious - perfect to serve as a light dessert during the festive period.

So, pretty great box huh? Remember you can get £6 off you first Degustabox with the code BLDEG15!
