It's finally live! My first ever YouTube video which is a Spring 2015 Lookbook! I'm so excited to share this with you - I've been wanting to start a YouTube channel for ages but I didn't really know where to go with it, however recently I met an incredibly talented friend Heidi Bawden who has filmed the video and edited it for me.

I have been on and off with yoga for years now: I love the feeling I get after yoga, but I always struggle to find time for it. So when my mum invited me to come along with her to a yoga retreat, I got really excited about the whole experience as I wanted to learn more about different types of yoga and also just have a break from everything.
The Laughing Buddha retreat is located on a beautiful country estate in East Sussex, surrounded by fields and skies. It is spread over two properties - a scenic three story manor house and a modern renovated barn house. The guests can stay in either of the properties, your rooms are usually allocated (we stayed on the top floor of the manor house). The days are scheduled with activities, however there is a very relaxed attitude towards times and attendance of activities which is great as you really feel at home. The hosts, Alexis Garnaut-Miller and her partner Martin, are fantastic and make you feel very comfortable from the moment you step through the door.
We arrived a little late on the Friday night, but we did get to the farm in time for dinner which was a delicious mix of chickpea and spinach curry, Goan fish curry, quinoa with veg, red lentil dahl and kale with roasted seeds. You can pick and choose what you want and the hosts are very good to anyone who has allergies or other dietary requirements and provide them with alternatives. The food provided throughout the weekend was absolutely fantastic - it was healthy, but so delicious! It's inspired me to cook more healthy meals at home and definitely got me on board with raw veg meals and juices!
We started Saturday with a 2hr morning session of Dynamic Detox Yoga in the The Laughing Buddha yoga studio in the barn and I have to say there's nothing better than doing yoga and watching the sun come up. It felt great to start the day like that, and it's something that's inspired to turn our conservatory into more of a yoga space so I can enjoy yoga sunrise at home.
We then had a late breakfast which consisted of porridge, fruit, eggs and other yummy healthy goods.
After breakfast we had a couple of hours where we were encouraged to go for a walk or just relax - me and mum decided to go for a short walk around the countryside surrounding the farm. We came across the horses and ponies who lived on the grounds and gave them some cuddles and apples! I fell in love with the ponies - they were so small and cute!
After the walk, we went to a Yin Yang yoga sessions which was a much more relaxing session and really calmed your spirit down. It was really nice to unwind like that and take away some tips and tricks you can use every day to relax your muscles. I remembered some moves to relax the face and the eyes for when I'm spending long periods of time in front of the computer.
After a delicious dinner, we had a meditation session which was absolutely incredible and I would recommend trying out meditation to anyone who does get stressed or just finds it difficult to relax. You feel like you are generally in and out of consciousness and I even felt like I was asleep at one point. I have even started practicing meditation at home when I get a quiet moment - just for a few minutes, so I can clear my head. The positive vibes and affirmations you concentrate on during meditation can really help shift a negative mindset which pulls a lot of us down day to day, and help you envisage the things you really want in life.
We spent Sunday much like the Saturday, except instead of going for a walk we stayed in the house and chatted to some lovely women who all had incredibly interesting stories to tell. At the end, it felt like we had been there for ages (in the best way possible) and it was a really familiar place - almost like a safe, cosy bubble. After a delicious lunch of raw salads and roasted veg, we said bye to all our new friends and it was time to set off home.
I took away a lot from this weekend yoga retreat: healthy lifestyle tips, an obsession with yoga, a more positive attitude and a general feeling of freshness - it's been a weekend to remember. I think it's easy to get carried away with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but when you go away somewhere where you can connect with yourself, everything finally falls into place and the most important things in life stand out so much you just can't ignore them.
Thank you to my wonderful mum who took me on this amazing weekend break, it was absolutely lovely to spend time with her and have some laughs! xx

Spring / Summer 2015 is all about white - head to toe white, Victoriana inspired white lace dresses, white power dressing...you get the idea. I love the head to toe white look taken from the catwalk, but I chose to style my whites with a black top to defy the trend a little bit and in my eyes make it more wearable day to day. This is a crop top which looks great for an evening of cocktails or a shopping trip, but if you want to make this look office/uni friendly, I'd advise wearing a longer length top to keep your look conservative.
I have added a statement "it" bag which is a hit accessory this season, you can find alternatives to this Chanel quilted bag in almost any high street stores - or hit up eBay for a real designer bargain! Keeping this look quite minimalist, I also added my Michael Kors watched and some stacked rings from H&M - to me, these are all the accessories required to keep this look timeless and classy.
On my feet I am wearing some white Topshop platform sandals - platforms are huge this Spring 2015 and of course the colour of the season is white. These shoes are mega comfy, but, very slippery on floors so bear that in mind when strutting down the corridors!

I have sensitive skin so it's very important for me to choose the right skincare products to ensure my skin is kept calm and under control. I have been religiously using toners for the last two years because I really notice a difference in the level of oils my skin produces and toners refresh my skin instantly. I use a toner at night to close my pores after a hot bath and also to get any makeup that might be remaining from the day, and I also use a toner in the morning to wipe away any oils from the night before and start my day with a clean "canvas".
I have tried a few toners over the past couple of months and I wanted to share these reviews with you as I think if you have sensitive skin you sometimes need to be picky with what you buy and put on your face.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Solution: This has been on the radar of a lot of beauty bloggers and has been a favourite amongst popular YouTubers so naturally I had to try it out. As it says on the bottle, this is a toner for sensitive skin and it feels like you're wiping your face with water: there's no harshness to the toner at all. You can also remove makeup with this solution and it is really effective (except against waterproof mascara unless you really scrub, which is never great) and gentle on the skin. The cleanser removes impurities using micelles, which micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance. Added decongesting active ingredients prevent irritation making this the perfect toner for sensitive skin. I have now actually used up the whole bottle and I will be repurchasing this as an everyday toner because it just doesn't irritate my skin in any way but keeps it refreshed and clean.
VICHY Purete Thermale Micellar Solution: Liam bought me this toner when he saw that I was running out of Bioderma because he knows how much I lovee VICHY products and they really get on well with my sensitive skin. This micellar solution is made for sensitive skin and is enriched with soothing Rose Phytopheno. The solution cleanses your skin and removes eye and lip makeup without being harsh on the skin. I like the way it smells, there's a very light sweet floral scent which goes along with this toner. I have been using the VICHY micellar solution for about a month and I'm really happy with the results - if you can't get hold of Bioderma, this is a great alternative.
LUSH Breath of Fresh Air toner water: Lush is known for their natural ingredients and products good enough to eat, and this is the second time I have repurchased this toner. This is a refreshing toner water with seaweed extract, patchouli oil and rose which calms the skin. I love love love this toner in the summer because it really refreshes my skin and you can carry the bottle around with you to just spray whenever you feel a little hot and sweaty. I also use it day to day, and when I feel like I need a little "pick me up" for my skin. It keeps any spots and redness at bay so I'd say it's a great toner for sensitive skin.
Kueshi Pure and Clean toner: I have recently started using this toner after receiving it in my January Glossybox, first impressions: it smells delicious! It smells like flowers and sweets, really sugary. However, the toner consists of promising aloe vera, chamomile and calendula which all soothe the skin and are recommended for sensitive skin. I use this toner after a Lush bath when I want to smell like sweets, but I'm yet to find out what this is like as an everyday toner. It makes my skin feel supersoft and clean so it is a really promising start.

In one of my previous posts I mentioned that one of the key trends fro Spring/Summer 2015 is going to be revival of the 70s which means boho vibes, crazy prints and oversized sunglasses. I love the 70s trend, it's one that I am definitely embracing this year because I love the free spirited boho feel and look of this style.
I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I saw it - I love the cut, the print and the zipper on the front of the skirt, it really gives it that vintage feel. I styled it with a plain t-shirt and a statement necklace which ties in with the colourful skirt, and added in round oversized sunglasses (my favourite style at the moment!). I finished the look with glossy platform boots which are very 70s era and some stackable rings from H&M.
I can already tell that I will be wearing this look quite a lot this Spring/Summer as it's fun, colourful, trendy and most of all comfortable.

I love the minimalistic monochrome trend which is commonly sported amongst the Scandinavian bloggers, and Spring 2015 is all about white so I decided to style a casual everyday outfit which anyone can wear.
I chose a white cosy jumper for New Look which will transition nicely from the colder months of Winter to warmer months of Spring, and will also keep you warm on chilli Summer nights. I love jumpers - they are so easy to wear and if you pick a simple jumper, it will be a staple piece in your wardrobe for years.
I paired the jumper with high waisted Joni jeans from Topshop and a pair of white platform shoes. Platforms are set to be huge this Spring/Summer and you can't go wrong with the on trend white colour.
To jazz up an otherwise simple outfit, I added some bling in the shape of multiple skinny gold rings and a chunky watch from Michael Kors. And to finish, I threw in my designer "it" bag from Chanel - classic and never out of style!
I'm loving this simple and fresh look for Spring 2015 - what trend are you most looking forward to?

I'm so excited about the Spring 2015 Seventies throwback! I love the Seventies, I think it was an amazing era of fashion with boho vibes, fun and eclectic prints and florals everywhere! One of the trends from the Seventies I'm currently loving are the flared jeans: flattering, long and the bigger the flare, the better.
I paired my jeans with a plain white t-shirt and a statement necklace (all from Zara who currently have the best sale!) and some platform boots (which you can't really see as these jeans are mega long), but flared jeans also look great with a printed t-shirt - the brighter the better. Choose floral prints and cartoons from the era to really get that Seventies vibe.
I'm so excited for more trends reminiscent of the Seventies to emerge from the high street as I think this will be the trend which I will be embracing most of all this Spring / Summer 2015.

On Saturday, I decide to bake Harvey some cheeseburger bites and all I needed was:
400g of plain oats
1 beef stock cube and 275ml of water to dilute it in
40g of parmesan cheese
Pour the oats into a bowl and add the stock - mix well so the oats and stock form a nice, almost solid mixture. Then slowly add in the parmesan cheese, mixing well.
Once the consistency is right (you want the 'dough' to not fall apart and bend around well), roll it out on a clean surface using a rolling pin. Then get some cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes: I didn't have a doggy bone one so I used hearts, starts and gingerbread men!
Place your biscuits on a baking tray and pop in the over at 180c for 30 minutes. Once the biscuits are baked, let them cool before giving one to your pooch to enjoy!
Harvey loved his cheesy bites and kept coming back for more, but it's important we remember that a treat is still a treat and should be a part of a healthy diet. These biscuits can keep in the fridge in an airtight container for 2 weeks, so feel free to make a big batch to store. I also think these biscuits make a really cute present for someone else's puppy!
