what i'm wearing: wide leg trousers Zara // faux fur gillet F&F at Tesco // turtleneck United Colours of Benetton // bag* George at ASDA // hat Major Wear // necklace H&M

Zara always has awesome sales - not only in terms of stock, but also price. I found these trousers in the sale after seeing them on Instagram and just falling in love! Casual, wide leg and checked - they are a wardrobe must have (and currently only £9.99!) But there are only S's left in size which is why I linked to an ASOS version below which look pretty much identical.
I love the retro feel of these trousers which is why I styled them with seventies vibes in mind - a faux fur gillet, fedora hat and a tassel bag all give a little nod to the era. Seventies is not going away any time soon so if you hate the trend, I'm sorry I had to break the bad news to you, but if you love it (like me) you'll be happy to know seventies influences carry on to SS16!! Happy days!

Last weekend, Heidi and I ventured to Stockbridge to have a little snoop and see if we could find a new location for the lookbooks we are currently working on. Stockbridge is a teeny tiny town in Hampshire, just down the road from where I live, and is filled with the cutest boutiques ranging from fashion to interiors, and is a lovely walk (although perhaps maybe not in the rain). I saw the 'Always Kiss Your Dog Goodnight' sign and fell in love - I always give Harvey a little kiss goodnight! There are also some of the best pubs in the area like The Three Cups (which serve awesome grub and have a cute pub garden to be enjoyed in the summer), delis/eateries like Thyme & Tides, and tea rooms. If you're in the area, have a little snoop around the town and let me know what you pick up from the shops!
