Shearling accessories do two very important things to an outfit - help keep you warm, and look stylish. Shearling is one of my favourite textures for Winter styles - I love the creams, beiges and browns and how rustic it makes any outfit look, even in the city you get a little hint of snowy mountains and cosy log cabins. And the best companion for shearling? Chunky knitwear. I'm obsessing with creams and beiges, I just think these colours scream 'Alps' to me. And seeing as I won't be going to the Alps this year to get a glimpse of the beautiful snowy mountains, I'm brining what little I can of the feeling back to good old Hampshire.
I bought the faux shearling mittens ages ago because I just thought they were so cute and cosy - but I haven't actually worn them until this year, when I finally took the label off! The match perfectly to my faux shearling gillet, and the most comfortable shoes on Earth: Uggs. I'm so happy Uggs are exploding back onto the fashion scene because the comfort and warmth they bring have not been matched by any shoe I have ever tried on - yay to Uggs taking back the Winter shoe empire!!
This is such a stylish and comfy winter look! I love it, I especially love the waistcoat. I need one of those <3
