I friggin love Mexican food – it’s so comforting with a spicy kick, melting cheese and zesty freshness from citrus. As far as burritos go they are perfect – fun to say (with a Mexican accent of course), filled and fat with filling, and easy to eat on the go! Benitos Hat is all about the famous burrito, in fact it reminded me somewhat of a Subway system where you pick you burrito filling, salad, sauces and what goes with it.
I so enjoyed my burrito, which at one point felt like it was never ending – the super soft skin, filled with juicy pulled pork and crunchy fresh salad were slathered in hot salsa and cool sour cream… It was a heavenly mess. Scoop up some of your filling with the nachos for a crunchy bite.
The joint itself is pretty compact but cosy and inviting – it’s the perfect fast food stop to refuel, catch up with friends and down a margarita. Or any other drink of your choice! With sounds of Southern America in the background, get tucked away in one of the corners of Benitos Hat to escape the hustle and bustle of London, and enjoy a taste of Mexico.
Oh wow this looks like a great place, the food looks good!
