I was always under the impression that if you look good when exercising, you will end up exercising more and getting really stuck in to whatever sport you're doing. Clothes, regardless of what the occasion is, can change the way you feel and behave - looking like you're ready to take on the track will make a huge difference when it comes to facing the 'wall'.
The new Superdry Sport range hit the stores and is looking pretty awesome - variety of cuts to suit both women who feel comfortable wearing super-tight items of clothing, and more forgiving cover ups for those of us who are only just starting to tone up.
The coral cowl hoodie immediately caught my eye - the colour is perfect for summer; and I loved the shape of the hoodie as the details on the pockets/cowl neck add that je ne sais quoi that allow this piece to be worn not only to the gym, but also casually with jeans/shorts.
Having a section of your wardrobe dedicated to sportswear has become an essential for everyone who would like to start working out, or is a dedicated sport fanatic. It uses the same principle of prepping for your activities, as if you were stocking up the kitchen with juicers/spiralizers/bags of pulses - you are prepping yourself for a new healthier lifestyle and ensuring you have the right gear and footwear to begin with.
I have always been a fan of Superdry clothing, but it has been wonderful to see the company evolve over the past couple of years: Superdry Sport is a range focussing on athletic wear, but the brand also does tailored coats and jackets, and casual evening out dresses/skirts. The brand always produce the most comfortable items which are durable, warm, and have detail which stands out from the crowd.
Superdry scuba runner trainers will be your best friend on and off the track - I ended up wearing these shoes after a run, and for the rest of the day I was so happy running errands and moving around in them! Just pair with skinny jeans which cut off at the ankle, and a loose t-shirt - at the moment I'm loving bright coloured sport bras under loose, sheer tops for a sportswear inspired casual look.
