Cold Shoulder

As the cold sets in I finally give up and dig out my super cosy knitwear, faux fur and warm boots. This week I have been waking up in the morning to frost covering the grass and roofs of houses - and it gives me a really nice, cosy feeling - mainly because I have been able to cosy up at home more often that usual! But in all honesty I love this season because you can get really snug in layers of gorgeous fabric and prints - and layers are the way forward.

Cold shoulder sweaters have really hit the high street this season - in the summer we saw cut out shoulder tops, and this trend has carried on to the winter with gorgeous chunky knitwear which embraces a cold shoulder.
The chunky knit cold shoulder sweater I am wearing in this post is from RoseGal - an American website which has good quality fashion items at bargain prices. I picked up a couple of pieces and was impressed with all of them - from the price, to the delivery, to the quality. I have had several people ask me where the sweater is from and then be really surprised it didn't come with a price tag of £70+!

I love the sweater because you can wear it casually and more dressed up like I have styled in this post: with a pair of over the knee boots (again, a hit this season!) and a little touch of faux fur.

It's been a pleasure getting out and about in the sunny autumn days but I feel like we're going to be seeing a lot more frost and gloom from now on - but that doesn't mean our moods have to be reflected in the weather! I believe that looked good means feeling good too - so get dressed up and tackle the weather in this seasons finest!

  1. Love this outfit and the photos Lana! I'm also loving this trend at the moment, I've picked myself up a lovely grey cold shoulder top from Miss Selfridges a few weeks ago and haven't stopped wearing it xx
