Restaurant Review: Herman ze German, Soho
During trips to London, I always try and look for new places to eat and experience as much as possible - being a country girl, getting out for a day in London is literally a whole day of meetings, events, socials and of course lunches/dinners!
We stumbled upon Herman ze German when looking for a place to eat during London Fashion Week - I've heard of the joint before, but this was the first time enjoying some sausages and a fizzy drink!
Herman ze German is effectively a fast food joint where you order your food and pick a place to sit, then your sausage gets delivered to you in a matter of minutes! It's casual, family friendly atmosphere is ideal to relax and indulge in some German sausages delivered from the Black Forest in Germany where they are made.
There is a selection of options to choose from at Herman ze German - I was ravenous and I couldn't actually pick one because everything sounded delicious! Heidi who is a vegetarian found a veggie sausage which was her pick, and I ended up going for a Bratwurst which is a familiar option for me - I love it smothered in mustard and Currysosse! Proper comfort food, there's nothing dainty about the portions or the food itself - but boy are the sausages good! Served un a hot dog bun with chips and sauces, you can pick from a variety of flavours, spices and ways the sausages are cooked.
There are three Herman ze German locations in London and if you're after some food that will fill you up - make sure you make a pit stop and enjoy their delicious German sausages! Excellent for families with kids, group of friends catching up or even if you're running around town by yourself completing errands.
