Vintage Summer Glamour.

A few weeks ago, I found out that a new boutique will be launching with vintage print/look dresses and I was really happy when I was asked if I wanted to review a dress. I had no idea on the fabric (I chose the Hawaiian Pin Up fabric!) or the style of the dress, so I waiting in desperation to see what it would looks like. When the dress arrived, I was really impressed with the packaging - the package was sealed with a little rope which had mini keys hanging off it! This might sound sad, but I am a sucker for good wrapping. To me presentation starts from the beginning, so massive thumbs up!
I fell in love with the print on the dress straight away - it has such a nice summery vintage feel to it! I love how bright it is, and the pattern is quite loud so it's a perfect dress to wear on it's own with minimal accessories.

I styled it with the 40's in mind, I am so excited to wear it to a Vintage Independence Day event I will be attending in July, styled just like this! And when it gets warmer (because I don't think this dress would suit opaque tights, the summer pattern looks best with bare legs) I will wear it casually with sandals, oversized sunglasses and a straw trilby!

Uncommon Nonsense stock a number of dresses with different fabric, one of my favourites is the teapot dress! I can't wait to see what they bring out next as this dress is comfortable, flattering and the fabric is just awesome!
