L'Oreal Nude Magique CC Cream Anti-Fatigue Review.

When the CC creams first came out, I was really curious to see what they were like and wondering through Boots I noticed that L'Oreal had a wide range to match dull skin, or skin that suffered from red patches and so on. So, I decided to try one that would suit me which at the time was most definitely the anti-fatigue CC.

I don't think I have ever tried L'Oreal foundations before, but I've always heard great things about them and I didn't think a lot could go wrong. Boy, was I wrong! Now I don't know if it is just me or how other people found this CC cream but it's ORANGE. I mean seriously like not even TOWIE tan orange - I mean like the fruit orange. I rubbed it into my skin and the colour did not adapt to mine at all (a CC or Colour Correction cream is supposed to blend to your skin tone, which is why there is only one shade for everyone) and I was left rather disappointed. The only way I could see myself wearing it is by mixing it with a paler shade, so I started experimenting.

I dap a tiny drop of the CC cream into a foundation of choice for that day, then mix it in and apply as usual and actually, the concept worked. Because the CC cream is so orange and bright, mixed with a normal foundation it provides a nice sunkissed glow - perfect for covering up tired and worn skin!

In conclusion, it's definitely not the best product I have ever bought but for someone who doesn't mind doing a bit of colour creating in the mornings and mixing it up with paler shades it's a product to consider. But for £10 L'Oreal, I have to say I expected better.

  1. I looked at these the other day and was put off by the orange-ness of it! i don't think i'm ever awake enough in the mornings to be able too adjust it to the right colour either haha! great review!

  2. I had a very similar experience, I bought the Loreal BB cream in the lightest shade, this was orange too!! :( xx Thou Shalt Not Covet

  3. I've heard that all the loreal BB creams are a load of rubbish! I was in Boots yesterday and talking to one of the Customer Assisstants and she bought the Lumi Magique cream for dull skin and apparently it was like fence paint! x
