neon beanie American Apparel // gold detail beanie ASOS (similar here) // cable knit beanie ASOS (similar here)
I've chosen the hyped American Apparel neon beanie because I am experimenting with colour pop this winter, and I think this beanie will look amazing with black skinny jeans, black relaxed mac and mid heeled ankle boots. Black with bright colour pops is an updated fashion classic, and easy to wear.
The ASOS embellished beanie caught my eye straight away - I love the luxe sports trend and I want to wear more elements of the trend this season. This is a good beanie to glam up a day outfit or match with high waited jeans, T-shirt and sky scraping heels on a night out. It's a cute, warm beanie hat with a little attitude!
My last pick is a toned down cream cable knit boyfriend beanie. For cosy Bonfire nights, sitting by the fire, walking the dog in the countryside this beanie is an ideal companion to winter floral dresses, tough boots and fur lined parkas. It really just makes you want to get away for a week (or two) and rest in a forest cabin with an open fire, cheese board and a nice bottle of whatever tickles your fancy...
I think beanies are a versatile trend and will be around for years to come, with many designers jumping on the beanie trend bandwagon and prices ranging from £3-£200. They're easy to wear and keep your head warm - and if anything like me, you'll know the value of keeping warm in the winter whilst trying to look relatively fashionable!
What is your favourite winter hat trend? I'm looking forward to embracing more Autumn Winter headwear trends, I'll be sure to share the more successful ones (and funnier ones) on FashionFake with you!
I loooove beanies and cant wait for the weather to cool off so I can start wearing them :)
