Turtleneck H&M // printed pencil skirt ASOS // boots Topshop // necklace* Celliana // faux fur wrap vintage // watch* Tesco
I’m constantly on the lookout for cool new places to photograph my looks, so when I came across this little orchard hidden away in Hampshire I got really excited to style up a “witchy” outfit. All the big red apples around and the dark feel of Autumn around really made it feel a little like I was on my way to Snow Whites house to feed her the apple which will place her in the worlds deepest sleep. I don’t know about you, but I think I suit the part rather well!
Turtlenecks are huge this season and although I used to struggle to wear them before because I felt too restricted, I think I’m coming around to the idea more these days. This is my favourite black turtleneck, it’s very slimming and very comfortable as well as going with almost everything in my wardrobe. If you have a loud print like this skirt I bought in the ASOS sale – their sales are amazing, this was a bargain £10! – then you have to balance that print with toned down fabrics. In this case, I chose to balance it with the colour black, but weaved in a little more colour with my gorgeous neon necklace which the girls over at Celliana kindly sent to me (talking of sales, check out their current sale for amazing discounts!)
I’m loving pencil skirts at the moment - different prints an fabrics make this item so exciting! It has definitely changed its image from being a corporate secretary’s best friend to a catwalk must have.
this skirt is amazing! :)
