what i'm wearing: Primark check pattern shirt // Zara silk paisley print top // Topshop Joni jeans // Topshop boots // Primark chain necklace
Prints have been on trend for as long as I can remember: summer, autumn, winter, spring... Prints and patterns, be it florals or squares, can add life to any outfit which is what I kind of did today. I love pattern dresses with opaque tights, boots and a little jacket but I know so many people who don't really like wearing dresses or skirts so I decided to wear a mix-match autumn pattern and style it with my favourite jeans.
Mixing patterns is great as long as you keep to some sort of theme with it. Here I decided to go with similar colours, but completely different prints: classic checkered shirt worn over a folk inspired paisley pattern.
I was going to post a recipe today but I thought it might be a little bit too much food on the blog so I just included a picture of what's to come soon - lemon chicken with earthy butternut puree! I made this last night and it was a hit with everyone at the table. Do you guys want to see more recipe posts on my blog?
