Every girl I know at some point in her childhood played with dolls - whether it's Barbies, Action Men or vintage style dollies. I used to be a total tomboy and always chose shorts over dresses, climbed trees and played soldiers but I always loved escaping into my own world of dolls because I thought they were so beautiful and fun!
I took a lot of inspiration from dolls because they had awesome careers, cute clothes, beautiful long hair and adorable pets. Which is why I think it's important to portray aspirations through dolls that are popular with little girls - like the new Bratz Study Abroad range who travel the world. Bratz Study Abroad include:
- Cloe who plays with pandas in China #Cloud9
- Raya in colourful Mexico #LaVidaLoca
- Yasmin who’s visiting Brazil to take samba lessons #LifeIsBeautiful
- Jade who is travelling across the great Russia #Epic
- Sasha who's loving London on her trip to the UK #BritainIsMyJam
I think travel should be encouraged fro a young age because the saying is true - travel does broaden the mind. Plus, the dolls looks so cute and have two outfits which correspond with the countries they're in!
My favourite doll is Raya - she's so cool and I just love her style. Yes, I just said I love a dolls style.
All of the dolls come with their own suitcases, a change of clothes and loads of cool accessories and souvenirs from their travels. Not forgetting each doll comes with her own iconic lip-shaped comb – perfect for styling and braiding their gorgeous long hair! If you collect all the dolls, you can mix and match their clothes to create unique worldwide outfits - the international style options are endless!
I love that Raya has gone to Mexico as that's a place which has always interested me - Mexico is colourful, it has awesome food, and the vibes there are just on point! Who can say anything about a place where nachos are from??! Point proven - Mexico is awesome!
Anyway, back to talking about these cute little dolls - I was thinking this range is perfect as a Christmas gift to any girl who loves dolls and actually, as a 25 year old I'm going to admit that Raya is now sat on the desk in my home office guiding me as a spirit animal. There - you're never too old to enjoy a good doll!

I also have a little update for you guys which is why I am so excited to talk about travel and being abroad - for years I refused to renew my passport because I didn't want to travel due to my crippling anxiety. It stopped me from even thinking about going on trips with friends or my boyfriend and I missed out on so much. But, finally tackling my anxiety I have renewed my passport and am planning my first trip abroad in 11 years at the beginning on 2016!! Eeeeeks! I think I'm going to go to Paris because I have never been and it's not too far away from home. I know I will get the travel bug and want to go everywhere!!
