As a creature of comfort, I have several go-to outfits which I wear on a weekly basis. These generally consist of leggings, baggy t-shirts, baggy sweaters, and tracksuit bottoms. I am one of those awful people that also wears 'gym wear' when I'm at home - the amount of times I've opened my door to someone and they ask "off to the gym?" Nah, just chilling, watching Netflix, eating a pizza...
I work from home quite often, and although I get up and get dressed in the same routine as I would if I was going to an office, obviously I'm going to choose something comfy to sit in rather than stuffy dresses and trousers - who wouldn't?!
I fell in love with this SheIn - it's perfect for spending time at home. Because I'm a pear shape (bigger hips), I tend to go for longer tops to skim my hips and balance out my figure - but with the cold shoulder detailed top, this set perfectly compliments my body shape and shows off a little booty too!
It's a great outfit to wear on days when you're mainly at home but thinking of maybe popping out at some point in the day as you can accessorise this with a leather jacket and this seasons trendy cap - add statement trainers and you're ready to run some errands!
I'm loving working from home, it's made my life so much less stressful - the fact that I am in control of what I do and how my day is planned out makes me really happy. The simple things like when there is thunder and lightning I can be there with my dog calming him down - previously when I worked in an office and couldn't leave to ensure he was OK cost me hundreds of pounds worth of home damage. Yep guys, dogs are a big commitment especially if they're a rescue and have unsettled pasts! And also when I'm not feeling 100% I can give myself some down time to ensure I'm only feeling rubbish for a couple of hours, rather than exhausting myself and having to spend a week in bed with some nasty virus. I think more companies need to apply flexible working when possible because I've been sick less, and so much more happy.
